Recently, I traveled to Tuscany- a beautiful place in Italy. Leaving aside the rich history of art and architecture, the region is also famous for its rolling hills, farmlands, wines and olives. During my travel, I had decided to take snaps with my favorite Mi 5. The green landscape with its blue sky was a perfect recipe of picturesque views. I wish I could have stayed longer. Here are some of the snaps of Tuscany.
Vineyards and Farmhouse. This is one of many mediaval castles in the area, now converted to residence/ farmhouse.
Grape vines. I was told that the Tuscany region is responsible for the most varieties of grapes and flavours of wines in Italy, probably in the whole world. They systematically research for unique flavour and how they maintain original classical flavours is a delight to learn. The local institutions tie up with the farmlands to allocate certain areas for the research!
Farmlands and farmhouse. Grass bales are rolled for feeding cattle/ horses
Shades of greens and blues
Wild flowers (weed)
Sunset in Tuscany

Panna cotta with wild berries. Coupled with wine, this dessert is absolutely delicious!!! Wine production, storing in cellars, packaging are typical activities of some of the farms with wineries, specially in the Chianti valley of Tuscany province. Typical wine tasting consists of multiple rounds of wines prepared in different stages, varying from 3months old to 15 years old
